Therapy with a direction
You may already understand your anxiety. You may know the reassurance, checking, avoiding, researching, replaying, or over-preparing is keeping the cycle alive. Knowing that and changing it are different things.
At Phoenix Counseling, treatment is collaborative and active. We map the pattern together, choose practical targets, and build the skills to respond differently when fear shows up.
Is this for me?
The content of anxiety varies. The stuck pattern underneath it is often surprisingly consistent.
Unwanted thoughts, mental reviewing, checking, reassurance seeking, or rituals that have taken over too much space.
Fear of sensations, losing control, having a medical emergency, or being somewhere escape feels difficult.
Specific situations, places, sensations, or experiences your life has slowly narrowed around.
Over-preparing, redoing, delaying, researching, or needing to feel completely certain before moving forward.
How treatment works
Treatment is paced with you, but it is not vague. You will know what we are working on and why.
We identify triggers, feared outcomes, avoidance, visible and mental compulsions, and what keeps the cycle going.
Together, we turn your goals into a treatment map and real-world practice steps that are challenging but workable.
ERP, ACT, and CBT help you make room for discomfort without automatically obeying it, in session and between sessions.
We look at how much life you are reclaiming, adjust the plan, and build skills you can continue using independently.
“Good treatment should help you understand the pattern without turning therapy into another place to overthink it.”
Meet Trisha
I'm Trisha Blecich, LPC, LMHC, LCMHC. I have been a licensed counselor since 2002 and have focused much of the past decade on OCD, anxiety, panic, and phobias.
My style is warm but active. I will not hand you a generic worksheet and call it a plan. We will make treatment specific to how your anxiety works, what matters to you, and where you want your life to get bigger.
Start with fit
A consultation is a chance to briefly discuss what is happening, what you are looking for, and whether my approach matches your needs. It is not a commitment to begin treatment.
Telehealth availability depends on your location and clinical fit. Phoenix Counseling is not a crisis service.
